Gossip Joan

Gossip Joan is an English Country Dance. It was devised by Marjorie Heffer & William Porter in 1932 and published in Maggot Pie. It is a 3 Couple Circle dance. There is no progression in this dance. The dance lasts 108 bars.

The animation plays at 120 counts per minute. Men are drawn as rectangles, women as ellipses. Each couple is drawn in its own color.

The dance contains the following figures: hand turn (allemande), set, turn single, gypsy, circle, cast, siding (and probably others).
