Mainstream Rectangle #1332 is a Square Dance. It was devised by Vic Ceder in about 2015. It is a 6 Couple Rectangle dance. There is no progression in this dance. The dance lasts 35 bars.
This "Square Dance" actually starts in a 6 couple rectangle rather than a square, a useful formation if you don't have quite enough people for two squares.
This format is also found in Quadrilles.
The animation plays at 120 counts per minute. Men are drawn as rectangles, women as ellipses. Each couple is drawn in its own color.
An online description of the dance may be found here.
The dance contains the following figures: hand turn (allemande), rights and lefts, allemande round, promenade round, bend the line, ocean wave, swing through (and probably others).
If you find what you believe to be a mistake in this animation, please leave a comment on youtube explaining what you believe to be wrong. If I agree with you I shall do my best to fix it.
I do not have a publication date for the dance and not know whether it is under copyright or not. I do not have a date for the interpretation, so it may be under copyright.
