In 1796 this dance appeared in two slightly different versions, one in Preston

Sett & half right & left the same back again, lead down the middle up again cast off & Allemande.

and one in Longman and Broderip

Sett & hands 4 round, the same back again, lead down the middle up again one Cou: Allemande.

The dance already had different versions in the year it was first published.
