Tournée is a progressive figure for two couples. All advance to the centerline, the men inside the women, M1 turning over his left shoulder, and W2 over her right so that the 1s are facing the men's line (woman on the right), and the 2s are facing the women's line (woman again on the right), all in promenade hold. Promenade half around the set, then the men turn their partners across in front of them, 1s with the left hand 2s the right, finishing on the center line, women in the middle.
Mirror turn partner once and a half, 1s left, 2s right, and dance out to own sides.
History
The earliest use of this figure that I can find comes from a dance by Robert Campbell, From Scotia's Shores We're Noo Awa' which was published in "Two Traditional Scottish Dances - 8th set", 1964.
