An Inveran Reel is like a Crossover Mirror Reel except that the 1s cross over at the bottom, as well as at the top.
History
The first use of the figure, that I know of, is in Grimstock, a dance Playford published in 1651. Playford did't use the word "Inveran", he just described the movements.
The first use of the name that I have found is Mrs MacPherson of Inveran by John Drewry in 1964.
