Fifty~Fifty

Fifty~Fifty is an English Country Dance. It was devised by Fried de Metz Herman (website) in 1996 and published in Fringe Benefits. It is a 4 Couple Longways dance with the 1s, 2s improper. There is no progression in this dance. It is a USA dance. The dance lasts 104 bars.

The animation plays at 120 counts per minute. Men are drawn as rectangles, women as ellipses. Each couple is drawn in its own color.

The dance contains the following figures: USA, hand turn (allemande), circle, cast, lead, hands across, chevron, hey, hey for four, siding, arming, back to back, face to face (and probably others).
